its a wheat/gluten free world I live in

So I've recently found out I'm developing an allergy to wheat products .woo . Luckly Im not a celiac but I may as well be because I have to follow the same rules . So far most regular shopping centers have let me down with the lack of wheat free(gluten free ) products .I am eating , but I feel like im starving most of the day. Just craving the naughty forbidden delights I so enjoyed . My mom picked up some bread for me today and I was extatic . It was gluten free . It's been more than 2 weeks since I've eaten bread , pasta , cookies , etc... ok i did have a little bit of pie but come on it was a dinner party and it looked soo good . Little bit or regret later that night but nothing too horrendous . I'm looking on the bright side of things . I've actually felt alot better since cutting out the gluten . No more bloating , bathroom dashing , cramping so bad I've wanted an epidural because it was close to my labor pains that I had . Maybe this will help with my last 20lbs...yes only 20lbs to go... maybe by the summer it'll be gone . chin up leah...good bye wheat I loved you but your just no good to me anymore . tear .

Thats a really hard allergy to have, my sister in law has celicas and that is so restrictive I couldnt imagine.
I know McGavins Bread basket ( by Burget king on marine drive) has a whole section of wheat free bread, cookies, chips etc, mostly the naughty goodies. And if you call Whole foods they will set you up with a personal shopper and show you what they have that doesnt have wheat in it. Its Expensive I know, but could help to go once to get the help and then apply it else where. Good luck with everything, I am sure this will help with losing those last 20 lbs probably more!

Wow- I could've written this blog. I just found out I have a pretty nasty wheat allergy last week. Since then it's been me wrapping my mind around it. Thanks for sharing this- it gives me hope that some of my symptoms will go away as well. :)
